Since I had the day off from school and Jesse was busy, I figured I'd go visit the guys up at the Xavier school again. After taking a moment to consider the fact that almost all of my friends are mutants or have special powers...I went up there. I went to stop in the garden but I ran into Professor Xavier there.
He's really cool and all telepathic and he said I could come up there to get some training help on my powers! That's really awesome. He let me take some flowers to give to Jesse too. I just uh...hope he didn't see who I was gonna give the flowers to when he peeked in my head.

Anyway...it was a great little trip but I gotta get ready to head out on patrol!

Just went out to see if I could find that Marvel Boy guy or maybe Spider-Man so I could ask 'em about something and I run into crazy stuff.

First I'm getting paranoid because I think some repair-guy is breaking into a building...and after that's cleared up...the target-head guy shows up again and starts threatening me and ranting like a crazy guy...and then he blew up the building!


He ran off when I went to try to help any people that were in the building...this...oh man...just...grrr...

Well...tonight did not go well at all.

I went out on patrol with DD. I like doing that...spending time with the boss and learning how to do this crime fighting thing better. Anyway, we were just looking out for trouble when I saw that woman from the other night...Maya Lopez.
I know she'd deaf but why doesn't she find another way home? The streets are dangerous!
Anyway...before I could suggest going to talk to her to try and convince her to look for safer ways home, some trouble started.

First some drunk bikers that've been causing trouble in the area showed up. Then some weirdo with a target on his head killed one and tackled Ms. Lopez! It was that same guy from the other night! Didn't get too much time to do anything about him because I had to help Ms. Lopez. Apparently she really wants to get shot cause she went to fight one of the bikers while DD took care of the other one.
I got in the way and used my shields to keep her from getting shot.

While we were all dealing with the bikers, Target-head snuck off. We were just finishing dealing with the drunk bikers when Target-head attacked...he started shooting and killed the bikers. I'm glad I had a light dinner...definitely not good form to throw up in front of the boss and someone we were rescuing. I just...the guy's head...exploded...oh gods...

And then I find out that Target-head called the cops and pinned his murders on me and DD. The cops showed and there was trouble and Ms. Lopez offered to stall them so me and the boss could get away. I didn't like it...and I don't think DD did either, but he let her do it. He grabbed me and swung us out of there. We split up for the night and I headed home. Took a shower...did homework...tried again not to be sick...

I'm gonna get some sleep...I just hope Ms. Lopez is okay...
Man...gonna have freakin' nightmares again...

Well...things have just been crazy.
I went out to try and find out where Punisher is hiding so I could tell the boss about it and then we could go back and bring him in. Instead, I ran into the bone-woman, Spider-man, some weirdo with a target on his forehead, and a crazy ballet-ninja woman!

Anyway...the Target-head was harrassing the ballet-ninja and it seemed like she couldn't hear so I figured I'd step in and chase the perv off. Spider-Man beat me to the punch, but Target-head started spewing this really over-dramatic stuff and had the ballet-ninja fooled. Me and Spidey attacked the target-head but the ballet-ninja tripped me up so I couldn't help and Spider-man got shot...
still feel really bad I couldn't stop the bullet...
I tried reasoning with the ballet-ninja but Spidey managed to web up target-head and he ran into the street ranting like a crazy person. He caused a big accident and I rushed over to help people. Spider-Man came too but the Ballet-Ninja attacked again.
I tried to tell him that letting me contain the woman would be a lot easier than him and his injury fighting her...and he could get people out of broken cars a lot easier than me but Spider-Man's apparently not as good at strategy as DD.

Anyway...Spider-Man eventually convinced the Ballet-Ninja to stop being crazy while I helped people and she told us her name and gave us tickets to one of her ballet performances for some reason. Spidey said he was gonna take someone but I dunno who'd go with me...doesn't seem like Jesse's thing. Could just give 'em to the boss and he could take his girlfriend or something if he has one...not sure if he could see the dancing but he's seen a lot of other stuff I didn't think he would...

Oh man oh man! SOOOOO Not good.

Just stopped by the Botanical Gardens and things went nuts!
I ran into Warren Worthington the 3rd and that woman the not real cap hit and then Kevin showed up and then the woman started getting angry and then plants attacked and grabbed the woman and Kevin and they got rescued by the woman kidnapped Kevin!
I tried calling up to Xavier's but I can't get through and I can't get away to get up there...mom keeps coming up with new reasons to keep me in and oh man...I'm gonna keep trying to call...

Well...I went up to Xavier's again and hung out with Kevin for awhile.
I made sure to tell him about Laura and Wanda and Eve and Spike and he said he'd tell some other people.
I found out I can bring Jesse up there too...so...yay!

This weird rain is getting on my nerves...I'm freakin' soaked...

Atleast it being all dark and spooky makes sneakin' around easier.

And speaking of that...I ran into that annoying speedy biker again! Spike or whatever! And the monster woman was there too!
The little speedy guy got paint all over a bunch of buildings and was trying to set a trap for Captain Britain. Not a smart move...
Would've ticked me off even more if he tried to do anything against DD.

Anyway...this cool guy called Marvel Boy showed up. Me, him, and (surprise) the monster woman scared Spike off. Monster woman ran for it but me and Marvel Boy stayed behind to clean up the mess. I tried following the monster woman but I lost track of her and came back here...

Anyway...time for me to dry off and finish my homework...

Damn...
Try to solve a mystery and I end up with a headache and the feeling that I may have screwed up royally

See...there was this news story about food vanishing 'round here in Hells Kitchen and the paper was giving out a reward for finding out what it was. And the women's shelter near here needed some cash and it wasn't a lot but I figured  every little bit helps so I went to see if I could figure out what this thing stealing food was. And I mean...can't let a food thief get away with causing trouble so close to home...thought maybe if I solved this little mystery by myself DD would be proud of me and if this thing was gonna be something hostile I'd wanna be in uniform so I went as D and oh man...things are just screwed up.

I found out that it was that biker guy from the truck robbery that was stealing the food and he was acting like he wasn't doing anything wrong at all! He trashed the camera I picked up (I saved the video but c'mon...). A little fight started...I kept him from hitting me directly but I'm still gonna have a bruise. I noticed something weird though...after that guy punched my shield...the ground under him cracked. Not sure why...

It stopped when this girl named Laura showed up. Sure she was dressed like a hooker (most girls at my school are) and talked all monotone (so does my math teacher), but she seemed nice enough. She's got powers too...super smelling. But she tried to stop the fighting. We both tried to talk 'Spike' out of being a thief and into some honest work but the guy's just too crazy...violent punk...

Then this girl named Wanda showed up. She's apparently homophobic and creepy. Turned Spike's pants into lead! She kept going on and on about mutants and how they're homosuperior. I thought another fight was gonna break out cause of her. I don't trust her much at all and I think I'm gonna tell the people up at Xavier's about her. She can  fly and turn things into stuff and was talking all weird...it's...man...

That weird shape-shifter girl showed up and then Spike started insulting Captain Britain which was bad enough...but when he started talking bad about DD...I so won't let that happen. Told the arrogant little punk that he was lucky DD and Cap B were there there save his backside cause it turns out the Punisher was there too. Man...

Anyway...I left after Laura and that Wanda girl did...not wanting to fight with the little shapeshifter girl around...cashed the video in. Felt like they ignored everything I told 'em...and they did because instead of listening to what I said about it being dangerous...they put another stupid reward thing out...man...

Atleast the shelter got the money I said I'd get them.

That...did not go well. Seriously. Not good at all. First I walk into a street sign...and then the world goes crazy again.
Some guy in a weird helmet jumped onto this truck and started attacking it. Then Doctor Octopus showed up and started attacking the truck too! I scrambled to get changed. I really don't know what I was thinking but there were people that could've been hurt and I had to try to help them.

When I got into uniform I saw some other people...like a flying guy in a mask a girl that turned into a bird and then an elephant! Things just went nuts. The transforming girl starting attacking Doc Ock...which I really wanted to avoid. Gretchen got me thinking that Dr. Octavious could use help so I figured I'd try to talk to him. He's supposed to be a scientist, right? Logic should apply to him...even if he does have four, big, scary metal arms.

And the guy in the mask was fighting the guy in the helmet. I was worried about that guy in the mask...he started bleeding and man...that helmet guy really got me mad...attacking that truck with some kinda boom. If he wasn't so fast I would've done...something...

Man...I need to get better at this. I could barely do anything...atleast no one got too hurt and that bad guy in the helmet didn't get anything from the truck...

I'm going to train some then get to bed...

Well...I'm probably gonna get in a little trouble for it...but last night after I stopped a mugger...I just couldn't resist. Instead of getting changed back...I started running rooftops. It's just...man...I love the feeling of running through the night air like that. Jumping, rolling, running...it's just...wow.

Anyway...I ran into Spider-Man! He's cool! Funny guy. Didn't seem like he could sit still for more than three seconds but he's cool. We hung out for a bit but then I noticed these same two guys I've stopped from causing trouble twice already this week. First I saw 'em trying to break into a store and scared 'em into running right into a shield. Then I caught 'em trying to break into a nice lookin' car but they ran for it before I could catch 'em. This time...I guess there was a fight or somethin' cause they were going after this drunk guy. I distracted 'em and Spider-Man kicked 'em out of action. It was great.

Anyway...I need some sleep. So...

Man...my boss is great!
I went to see how he was doing after school, thought I was bothering him cause he said the place was closed but turns out I wasn't.
Anyway, we hung out for awhile...talked about that school I went to visit.
He offered to pay for me to go there or something like that...wow. He's really nice!
Really not sure I'd wanna go there...cause I like things around here...helping DD, the doing well at school, making sure Mom takes care of herself...Jesse...
But man...the boss is great!
Guess he's right though. Already getting training for most of what I'll need...but he's right when he says I should get some kinda teaching on my shields...
Oh well. Homework's done. I'm just gonna get changed and then its time to meet DD for some patrol!

Apparently...sleeping through all of April Fools Day is punishable by making me not only do all the work I missed, but making sure I bring work to a sick classmate.

Well...I brought the stuff up to the guy's house and started on my way home. I stopped to check out this nice looking restaurant when a bunch of not so nice looking men just about knocked me over (wouldn't that be a nice change? Someone else knocking me over instead of me walking into someone?). I was gonna say something...but they had guns. Which is bad. Especially considering that a couple minutes after they broke into that restaurant, people were screaming and yelling. So...I ducked into an alley to get changed. Guys with guns and screaming people seems like an emergency, right? And its not like I was gonna try and fight 'em...I was just gonna try and trap 'em like Gretchen suggested...

Turns out I didn't have to do too much. Crescendo and this guy called Captain Britain showed up. Dunno much about the new Captain but he was kinda cool, flyin' around and all. And Crescendo's awesome too with those sonic powers of his. But...while those two dealt with the bad guys, I got the lady they were trying to kidnap away from 'em and back into the restaurant then kept the place safe that way I do. Once they had the bad guys all rounded up...I ran for it cause the cops were coming. I really don't wanna have the cops shooting at me again.

Well...I'm gonna get y homework done, get some exercise in, maybe go try to find the boss...haven't seen him in awhile and I'm kinda starting to miss him...well...

WOW!
Oh man...first date I've ever been on and it was great! I can't believe it! And the first time I've ever kissed anyone too! HAHAHA!
Man! Jesse is great! An awesome person, he's funny, and he looks great...WOW! I can't wait to see him again!
He gave me his old highschool class ring for some reason...
And...we're sort of officially boyfriends now...wow.
Moving pretty fast but...wow...

Well. I went up to visit that Xavier Institute place after school today. Hopped on a bus and went to visit. Ran into a talking squirrel. Well...I guess it was some guy pretending to be squirrel somehow. His name was Kevin. Guy scared me...he's gotta be insane. But the fun kind of insane. Not Punisher Insane.

Anyway...I saw Ms. Grey too. She had a nasty blackeye. I new sh wasn't telling me the truth when she said she was okay. Man...Now I'm all worried about her too!

Anyway, the two of them went off to do what they were going to do before my unannounced visit. Ms. Grey said I could get a tour from Kitty but I ran into someone else instead. This girl named Gretchen and her giant Construct dog or something. We got along alright...I think I might've offended her when I talked about Doc Ock though. Anyway, she explained the school to me and we went and got some lunch but I had to get home so I couldn't stay too late. I didn't run into Kitty, but if she's staying at that school with cool people like Kevin, Ms. Grey, and Gretchen and learning about her walk through walls thing...I guess I don't have to worry as much anymore.

I'm really not sure about attending that school for training...mostly because I want to stay and keep helping DD and learning from him...but I think I'll head back up next week for another visit. They're good people and according to Kevin...my friends for life now. I like that...

Well...I hope that DD doesn't get too mad at me, but I stopped a mugging I saw happening on my way home. Well...not really stopped so much as caught the bad guy and got the wallet back to the guy it was stolen from. I was already in the alley tieing my shoe and I couldn't let the guy get away...so I tossed on the hoodie and goggles (no time for the pants,,,stuck with my jeans. Sure I looked funny but it doesn't matter) and just made a shield. The guy ran right into it and knocked himself out. I grabbed an old shirt out of a dumpster and tied the guy to a sign, gave the victim his wallet back, called the cops, and hightailed it. I know weird stuff is happening to me...but hey...I like running the rooftops. And the look on that guy's face when I helped him up and handed him his wallet...I dunno. It just feels right.

Anyway. Once I got a bit away from there and changed back to my street clothes (and calmed down from the rush), I started walking back home. Along th way, I bumped into (literally) this guy named Jesse. He's new to the city, goes to college nearby. We got along pretty well even if we knocked one another down. We talked for a bit then both had run.

Today was pretty good. I helped somebody and I guess made a new friend. Dunno...ever since I started doing this new 'job' of mine...it's just been easier to talk to people...

Well...I was still thinking about what happened with the Punisher. Man...really gotta get that out of my head somehow...but some kinda weird stuff happened today.

I ran into this lady named Jean Grey. She's definitely not all that normal and was really out of place in Hell's Kitchen. She looked like she could take care of herself but still

Anyway...she came up asked me if I knew a girl named Kitty and handed me a pretty accurate picture of me. Weird! Turns out Kitty is that girl who walked through the walls! And she's okay. That was great news. I was worried about her.

While me and Ms. Grey were talking, this really weird guy in a coat and a hat showed up. I got this weird feeling like I've seen him before but couldn't remember where. Guess it doesn't matter. He just got into this really weird conversation/argument with Ms. Grey. Then some troublemakers started messing with Ms Grey and things just went to heck.

The guy in the coat ran off and that cool blurry guy from the other night showed up .Gideon? I think that was is. We ended up having to chase off all those thugs. Wasn't that hard, just showed off some glowing while Ms. Grey tackled one of them and that Gideon guy was hitting them with low blows. Ow....

After all the danger was over, I helped walk Ms. Grey back to her car. She told me about this school for people like me. Ones with powers. I wonder if they're the people DD was going to talk to about helping me with my powers. I dunno. I guess I'll go check the place out...atleast to say hi to Kitty and make sure her and Mr. Grey are alright. Don't know about going there to stay or anything...I think that's what Ms. Grey was trying to do...get me to sign up or something. It's pretty far from home and I kinda wanna stay here in Hells Kitchen to keep helping DD...

I'll atleast visit.
